Privacy statement

This policy sets out how Atomic Fitness uses and protects any information that you may give to us.  Atomic Fitness is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected as we aim to provide you with a service that is safe and secure. You can be assured that all information that we collect will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Our privacy statement was last updated on 14/05/18.

What we may collect  
  - Identity data - Such as full name, gender and date of birth.
  - Contact data - Such as email address, postal address and phone number.
  - Profile data - Such as username and password for use of our online booking.
  - Financial data - We store our customers card payment details to process monthly subscriptions.    
  - Usage data - information about how you use our app for booking classes.

How we collect your data
  - You supply us with information if you create an online profile for booking classes.
  - Members are asked to fill out a screening form in person when they join Atomic Fitness. 
  - Any physical or online forms where you supply us with your with details.

What we do with your information 
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, in particular for the following reasons:  
  - Profile creation to use our online booking system.
  - Internal record so we can better understand your exercise, injury and medical history / conditions.
  - We may also use the information to improve our website, products and services. 
  - We may periodically send you promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting.

Updating or deleting your personal data
It is important that the personal data we hold is accurate and current. If any of your personal data changes during your relationship with us, it is your responsibility to keep us updated of any changes. If you wish for us to delete any of your personal information, you can ask us to do so by sending and email to AtomicfitnessIRL@gmail.com

We may use your identity and profile data to form a view on what we think might be of interest to you. We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the name and email address which you have provided. 

Atomic Fitness is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure all the information that we collect. Atomic Fitness will never sell or share your data to any third parties. 

How we use cookies   
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.   

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.   A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. 

You can choose to accept or decline cookies.   Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.



All memberships are Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable. 

All members must be over 16 to avail of facilities and services provided at Atomic Fitness. 

By joining the club, members automatically accept and agree to be bound by these conditions of membership. 

Atomic Fitness may withdraw use of all or part of the club for the purpose of undertaking maintenance work or any other work considered necessary for a maximum period of seven working days. 
As a member you agree to comply with the rules of Atomic Fitness with regards to use of the facilities, opening hours and your conduct. Atomic Fitness may make reasonable changes to these rules, from time to time, provided the club gives advance notice of these changes. 

You may, at your own discretion and expense, obtain personal insurance for loss, injury or damage that you might sustain arising from use of the gym. You exercise at your own discreation and accept any injury or illness brought on by exercise is your own responsibility. 

Members wishing to report on accidents, incidents, or problems with services at the gym should contact the Duty Manager (or speak to any member of staff) or can email info@Atomicfitness.ie in confidence. 

In the event of a breach of membership rules and regulations Atomic Fitness reserves the right of admission and may reserve the right to require any member or guest to leave the premises.

Safety & Hygiene

Throughout the course of your membership with Atomic Fitness, regular health and medical screening should be sought from your General Practitioner. 

Before using the fitness facilities, you should go through a basic introductory session with one of the fitness staff, followed by further sessions (as necessary) to ensure that you understand the equipment and adopt a safe training regime that suits your needs. The booking of this is your responsibility. 

It is necessary that all members and guests of the gym wear appropriate, clean attire and foot wear when using the studio and gym. 

If you feel dizzy, faint, unwell or feel any unusual pain then you must stop exercising and inform a member of staff immediately. 

Members cannot train in the club without a hand towel. In the interest of hygiene members must wipe down each piece of equipment after use. 

Studio users are advised to inform the instructor of any injuries, pains or concerns prior to the class starting.

Bank Card Direct Debit Payment

Members are required to agree to the normal terms and conditions of payment. 

Membership Fees will be debited from the members’ account using their given bank debit/credit card on an agreed date with the member for the minimum 3 month term from the term start date. 

Members are required to keep their account in funds to meet these payments.  In the event of the failure to pay the monthly membership fee, missed payments will be re-submitted for payment by Atomic fitness.  

Failure to meet direct debit fee – In the event of the failure to pay the monthly direct debit fee you will firstly be notified that your membership has expired and will be given the option to renew with us.

Class Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel a class which you have previously booked you must give 24 hour notice to carry your class over. 

Failure to do this will mean you forfeit that class. 

Cancellation of classes can be done through your MINDBODY app.

Membership Cancellation Policy

Atomic Fitness require 30 days for cancellation of ANY contract. 

12 month contracts require a minimum stay of 6 months and 30day notice.

6 month contracts require a minimum stay of 3months and 30day notice. 

To cancel your membership, you must send an email to AtomicfitnessIRL@gmail.com to begin the cancellation process. 

Should you wish to join Atomic Fitness again just speak to a member of staff who will be happy to set this up for you.
